(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On 18 January, the Saudi Wahhabi authorities arrested the Shi'ite writer and social activist, Hassan Al Hamada, while trying to drive through a checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Qatif.
Al Hamada said that he began to argue with a policeman at the checkpoint because he forget his identity card at home.
The policeman lost his temper and pulled out his gun and threatened him. Al Hamada was arrested by police, dragged to the squad and transferred to the police station in Qatif for 3 hours and released without charging him.
